Sorry for the lack of updates, I'll try and keep this brief (emphasis on the word "try"). Long story short I had planned a lot of things to do for the summer while I've had no work including another cosplay, but as usual life has stuck its nose in and cocked up a few things. Something went quite, quite wrong which has been hard for me to deal with, and as a result I've had a small bout of depression which is why I've been pretty quiet since my exhibition. Hopefully with a new year at uni about to start in a few weeks time I'll be able to throw myself into the workload and that usually helps me pick myself back up again. Also a huge thanks to my friends who have been helping me through this, you guys are ace.
Anyway, back to the real news. My exhibition went swimmingly! I hadn't expected to sell anything, but I sold a few pieces and gained a few commissions to boot, so that has kept me going for a time
other than that there's no projects or anything planned apart from my cosplay, which I will eventually get around to doing.
In other news I've moved in to my uni house! I'm living with four boys who are gamers and cosplayers (we all make up the committee for my uni's video game society, so that's going to be great fun). I've just got to make sure there are no more repairs to do on my Skyrim armour, and then I can wear it to Eurogamer and then MCM London Expo! I'm also going to be wearing it for the majority of fresher's week as the committee have decided to use me as a human advert for the society. I'm not quite sure how well it will work but it will be a laugh either way!
Anyway, best get back to my coursework for this field course I'm on (scientific write ups are weirdly fun…) Here's to a new academic year and hopefully some happier times on the horizon! Afternoon my lovelies!
